Hi, my biggest passion is write books, I just starting, but I will make my dream come true. You can follow me on my blog: Las palabras nos hacen volar (Spanish blog) or on 'The Words make us fly' (English blog)
If you didn't hear it, I can tell you. Allegiant is the new book by Veronica Roth, with this book she ends 'Divergent series'.
You can be allow to read the book the 22th Octuber. The book will be publish that day, although you can pre-order it on Amazon and maybe you are lucky and you get it before the date.
Why did I say that? In the last days, lucky fans, got their books before the date! Canadian mail had problems with shipping and they sent the books to the fans before the 22 oct.
They recieved the books and of course they published some photos on instagram! Instagram exploded when photos of fans with 'Allegiant' books started popping up. HarperCollins begged those fans that received the early books to keep the internet spoiler free. (something that they have failed).
'Allegiant' book has 526 pages.
'Allegiant' quotes have been surfacing all over the internet and it's time to put them on my blog!
"In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, Tris also learns that her secret might help her save the ones she loves . . . or it might destroy her."
MY OPINION:
It is an easy entertainment book. Although the book is so obvious.
Everybody was talking about 'Divergent', saying that the book was so cool, so I started to read it. But I was really dissapointed. I have to say that I read the book in less than one afternoon, because of this I said the book was easy.
'Be divergent', I wish that Veronica explains better this word in the future.
What can I say about Beatrice? And about Four? Its so evident that Four is in love with her, He is making things all time for save and help her. Although there is one more obvious thing: Four is Tobias. Since the first of the book when they are having dinner and they talk about Tobias and his family, you know that it is so obvious that something will happen with him. And the first time you see Tobias, you realise that WOW, Tobias is Four. It is so pretty obvious.
The only word I think in my mind when I remember the book is OBVIOUS. Obvious, Obvious... I was hoping some surprise when I started reading the book.
I think the book was entertaining but it would be more entertaining, enjoy or fun if the book would have been less obvious. I read the second part and I will read the third part, but I am still hoping SURPRISE.
3 stars? Why? It's so entertaining, easy and quickly action!
This afternoon my friend sent me a link on Twitter. The link was from the Jk Rowling Facebook account, before open it I couldn't imaginate what I will read... What I read was AMAZING.
J. K. Rowling are going to write the script for a series of films based on the magical world.
Warner Bros. announced on 12th September 2013 that J.K. Rowling would be making her screenwriting debut with 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'!!!!!, the first in a new film series which is part of their expanded creative partnership with J.K. Rowling.
The films will be inspired by Harry Potter’s Hogwarts textbook of the same name, and will feature the book’s fictitious author, Newt Scamander.
JK told us that the idea of make a film came from Warner Bros, the suggestion of turning 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' into a film.
Jk thought It was a fun idea and why not. But she didn't like the idea of other writer talking about "Newt Scamander". She has lived for son long in the fictional universe and she feels very protective of it and She knew a lot about Newt. She liked Newt a lot, because that She married Newt's grandson, Roft, to her favorite Harry Potter Character, Luna Lovegood.
As she considered Warners’ proposal, an idea took shape that she couldn’t dislodge. That is how she ended up pitching her own idea for a film to Warner Bros.
Aren’t all Potter fans always craved to know just a bit more about Harry’s world? I am sure we must have all wondered if there are more kinds of dragons other than the four mentioned in Goblet of Fire. Or are pixies really all that nasty as described in Chamber of Secrets? Or what exactly are grindylows and kappas?
Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where she was so happy for seventeen years, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world. The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt’s story will start in New York, seventy years before Harry’s gets underway.
So for celebrate this news I will make a small review about the book! The book is really small but JK will write the movie, so We will discover a lot of new things!
Synopsis:
"A copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them resides on almost every wizarding household in the country. Now, for a limited period only, Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.
Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to improving and saving the lives of children around the world, which means that the dollars and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope most sincerely that passing wizards feel more charitable if they ever see you being attacked by a Manticore."
It is a Harry Potter book that I rarely read but always it make me laugh when I do. They were perfect for the charity they were written for: Comic Relief, because they offer just that, some comic relief.
Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is written as Harry’s school book and has humoristic comments in the margin, like many school books do. The book itself is funny at times but it is really the comments that are the highlight of the book.
These books are not necessary to understand the Potterverse but they certainly add a bit of flavour to them.
It was (too) short and interesting, written in the amazing style of Rowling and it wowed me. In this book you will find many interesting creatures, some mention in the books, some not. I felt like it was too short, there could be a whole encyclopedia on these creatures and I'd read it all.
The beasts are categorized by alphabet and they all have the dangerous level of Xs by their name. There are nice descriptions and bottom page notes and there's also a foreword by Dumbledore and an introduction to the book. It looks like a real textbook.
I enjoyed reading it very much.
If you have read the books before the books was adapting to film, you (almost) always realise that movie is always dissapointing you.
You have too many expectations, you hope that everything you have read in the book will be on the movie. But it never happens.
And if you watch movie first, you like the movie with all your heart and you decide to read the book, but when you read the book you realise that book is totally different than the movie, and You are dissapointed again.
So to prevent that this happens and that you won't get dissapointed with the book after watch the movie first because it is totally different, I recommend you to read these 7 books before that you will find them in the cinema really soon.
'It is 1939. Nazi Germany. The country is holding its breath. Death has never been busier, and will become busier still.
There was once a world where the nights were long and Death had his own story. Once upon a time a thief who stole books and gave words.
In the village lived a girl who wanted to read, a man playing the accordion and a young Jew writing beautiful stories to escape the horror of war. After a time, the girl became a thief who stole books and gave words. And with these words he wrote a beautiful story and cruel.
Liesel Meminger is a foster girl living outside of Munich, who scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books. With the help of her accordion-playing foster father, she learns to read and shares her stolen books with her neighbors during bombing raids as well as with the Jewish man hidden in her basement.
In superbly crafted writing that burns with intensity, award-winning author Markus Zusak, author of I Am the Messenger, has given us one of the most enduring stories of our time'

Christian, Chritian, Christian... Who has not read the book yet? You can read my post about the choose of the protagonist: Here.
'When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

"I was going to learn how to protect farms and villages from things that go bump in the night. Dealing with ghouls, boggarts, and all manner of wicked beasties would be all in a day's work. That's what the Spook did, and I was going to be his apprentice." Twelve-year-old Thomas Ward, as the seventh son of a seventh son, has no inheritance and is bored with farm work, and even though his new job will mean the superstitious villagers will forever shun him, he is eager to go off to adventure with the tall, hooded man he calls the Spook. His mother, a magical person herself, approves, and the Spook's teaching is strict but kind. But when Tom has only learned enough to be able to control their house-boggart, he is tricked by Alice, the young daughter of a witch family, into inadvertently releasing and then killing Mother Malkin, a witch the Spook has imprisoned in a pit. This is no polite wicca-type witch, but a snuffling, slime-trailing, cannibalistic creature reminiscent of Tolkien's nasgils. The story of Tom's escape from the reincarnated witch's hideous revenge is full of horrible details, as Alice helps, and then once again betrays him. This well-crafted novel marks an auspicious start for an exciting and fast series for young teens.
Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.
In a dark and dusty shop, a devil’s supply of human teeth grown dangerously low.
And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.
Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real, she’s prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands", she speaks many languages - not all of them human - and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she’s about to find out.
When beautiful, haunted Akiva fixes fiery eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce – he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret...even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, FALLEN is a page-turning thriller and the ultimate love story.
I hope you enjoy reading this books! They are amazing, be quickly before the movie comes out! :D
If you don't live in USA, you may have noticed that books in paperback or hardcover format are really expensive. (For example: Spain)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Paperback format): $7,39
And Harry Potter and the Globet of Fire (Spanish version): Hardcover format (Because in Spain paperback format doesn't exist, you have to buy hardcover format yes or yes.): 23€ = $30,33...
Can you see?! I have to spend millions for have 5 books!
For that reason I started thinking about ways to have cheap books. Someone can think 'Amazon' is the best option, it is not. 'Amazon' has the same prices of other shops. So I started (again) thinking about other ways to have cheap books and I found 5. Do you want to read them?!(ilegal things are not included)
After that you will have new ideas of get books!
5 ways of have cheap books:
5. Amazon: Used books section.

2. Book Market and 'Daily deals' section!!
COST: BIG DISCOUNT AND NEW RELEASES.
In this kind of places you can have a considerable discount in the price of the books. There you can find new releases and you can find a big discount or just a discount in the book different from the ordinary book shops.
Price is not too low for considerate a 'cheap book' but I put this place in the number 2 because you can buy book have just released on market with a discount that you wouldn't find on ordinary book shops.
- 'Daily deals' section! (Only for people who wants to buy on Amazon.com and Shipping costs aren't gigant...)
1. Ordinary Market
COST: 1€, 2€ or 3€. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP
Between clothes and food, you can find people selling books almost by free! The other day I was in a ordinary market, and there were a lot of people selling used books and I bought 13 books only for 14€!!!!
And the best thing of all if you find a book that you really like, you can negotiate the price! Always you can negociate the price! So maybe you can get a book for less than 1€ or $2! Amazing, right?!?!
This sellers sell all kind of books, maybe you find a new release or a book from 50's. I foound 'Harry Potter and the prisioner of Azkaban' and 'Sex and the city'!!!! Only 1€ for each book! I found some books from Nicholas Sparks or the last book of Dan Brown!
In the market you can find almost a million of books! And if you are a lover of old books, omg this is the heaven for you! and if you love new releases is a heaven for you too!!!
Maybe you can't go with a preliminar idea of what you would like to buy, you have to go with no idea about what you will buy, just with the idea: I am gonna buy books! And you have to look for among books and books, and I am sure you will find a treasure!!!!
And I thought the best way of start to make friends is making a poll or a debate about books!

In the last days we have discovered who will be the protagonists of '50 shades of Grey'!
And Internet exploded!!
Why?
They were not the favorites for the role. Everybody had an image of their Christian Grey and their Anastasia Steele in their minds.
The reality does not match the fiction.
Everybody was expecting for the E.L. James choosing their favorites.
(I have to say I was dissapointment too, I prefer Ian Somerhalder for Christian Grey rol.
You can't say me that he is not the perfect Christian Grey...)
But the reality is so different...
So for you, Who would have been the perfect Christian Grey and the perfect Anastasia Steele? (I didn't have favorites for Anastasia role).
Since I joined Booklikes I realized that it is really hard to make friends or to have followers. I followed a lot of people but they never give you back the follow, they never take a minute of their time to see your profile. Why is it happening?
I joined for talk with book lovers, for make friends, for exchange books and books expirences... but I haven't get anything like that. Why? The only people, who I've talked since I joined Booklikes, have been Booklikes official profile... And I think this is really wrong, and it makes me feel sad and angry.
I want to meet new book lovers, I want to talk, I feel so alone here, on my blog!
I think this webpage was created for talk between us about books, for exchange expirences with books, for meet new people... and this is what I am going to do.
I am going to look for blogs that have the same taste as me reading books, I am going to follow them and I am going to wait to them to follow back me. I won't wait for a follow back, I am jut hope you follow back, to be friends, to talk between each other about books.
I Hope to find someone who wants to make friends (book lover friend haha).
And I thought the best way of start to make friends is making a poll or a debate about books!

Hi everyone, how are you?
After long time, finally I decided to start making a Blog about books, making reviews, showing all the books I have bought... It will be a spanish blog, if you speak spanish go to: The words make us fly: (Las palabras nos hacen volar), of course after upload a post on the blog, I will make a little summary here, translating everything into english.
So Welcome to my new blog here and on The words make us fly: (Las palabras nos hacen volar).
I love books and new tecnologies. In Spain, books with paperback or hardcover format are really expensive, so one year ago I decidied to by an ebook for read everythng I want and more cheaper!
The best option if you really like to read is buy a 'ebook'.
I know you can say... 'oh you don't love real books'. But I really love them, and I would love to have them in my hands, but I I really want to read a lot, I have to buy ebooks! That's all.
The majority of the books I will talk about, you will can find it on internet in ebook format! :D
So let's start talking about interesting things!
Hi everybody! The last week I won a book in paperback format! I won it in 'giveaway' section. I was so excited and happy!
Today the postman gave me this:
I was so excited again, I can't believe that I won a giveaway and the books was in my hands! I have to say that I was a little skeptical about if the book will be in ym hands one day, but here it is!
A fun read, but unnecessarily long. I kind of already knew the ending, so I wasn’t all that disappointed, but I do feel like it was a little too perfect. Too much of a ‘and they lived happily ever after.’
'unnecessarily long.' True
There wasn't a big fight, they said "yes", but it was false.
I remove a star, because I think the story was too much boring.
Today I read an article about World's Top-Earning Authors published on forbes magazine.
(ranked between June 2012 and June 2013):
1. E.L. James ($95 million)
2. James Patterson ($91 million)
3. Suzanne Collins ($55 million)
4. Bill O'Reilly ($28 million)
5. Danielle Steel ($26 million)
6. Jeff Kinney ($24 million)
7. Janet Evanovich ($24 million)
8. Nora Roberts ($23 million)
9. Dan Brown ($22 million)
10.Stephen King ($20 million)
11. Dean Koontz ($20 million)
12. John Grisham ($18 million)
13. David Baldacci ($15 million)
14. Rick Riordan ($14 million)
15. J.K. Rowling ($13 million)
16. George R.R. Martin ($12 million)
First of the things I was surprised about its E.L. James in the first position. I know it is a big saga, but I never couldn't think that she will get first position (maybe because it was just a fanfic with flat characters.) I think the story only deserved one book, the rest of the books is for earn more money. And how we can see, she got it, more money.
The idea of this book borned on the blog: The Magic of the city (themagicofthecity.blogspot.com). One day the creater of the blog had an idea. She though: 'If I put all my photographies in one big book that everybody could read and could see, adding more information about the place, ways to go or stay there, history, why she takes photographies of these places...'
This is the day when the idea comes true. You're about to read that idea that it has been completed with the pass of time.
The process haven't been easy, but the book is ready and you already can read it.
I have been thinking a lot about the idea, and trying to select the best photographies for show you in this book, sometimes it's have been hard to find some infomation of the place, but I have not given up, I want to demostrate to my blog followers that it have been an ambituos proyect, and that they will love the result.
The worst part of write the book have been select the photographies that I've added to the book. I have a lot and I never thought that select the best of them were a really hard work.
I hope that with all my effort you get a fantastic book. I hope you enjoy reading and seeing.
